Simplicity E-course
Are you overwhelmed and find
you do way too much?
Do you find yourself juggling too many projects,
activities and responsibilities?
Does your home, finances and life
seem out of control?
You probably:
- work more than
you want to
- feel stressed out
- don't seem to do what matters most
- and
things like health, friends and self-care get moved to the back burner
Where
do you even start?
It's hard to simplfify your life, if
you don't even know where to start. I focus on one aspect of your life to simplify
each day of the course. I give you a step-by-step plan so you don't get
stuck trying to begin.
My husband teases me, saying
I could complicate anything and tells me I do things the hard way. That included
complicating my life with too much, too many and not enough. I was annoyed and
tense. I would drop after work with no energy left for fun.
I
decided I needed to simplify. I read tons of books and tried many different ideas.
But, the most educational work, was the inner work to find out what was important
to me and my family.
I found many suggestions for
simplifying, but no plans so I created my own to help others simplify
the task of simplifying.
"I would recommend this course as an easy, practical
way to start simplifying one's life. I especially liked the segments on Tolerations,
Wardrobe, and Office and Paperwork. Each day focuses on only one task, which is
helpful to people who feel overwhelmed by the complexities of modern life and
hardly know where to begin downshifting. Putting a name on those irritating aspects
of life--tolerations--has helped me identify and work on eliminating many of my
personal irritants. The links to other websites provides additional useful information.
I am very happy that I decided to sign up for this course."

DAY 16: YOUR WARDROBE
Did
you do your 15 minutes of dejunking? Did you exercise today?
What Are Your Colors?
One of the most important things to do to simplify your wardrobe is to get your
colors done. You can get them done at a professional place or take this very good
online test: http://stylemakeovers.com/colortest/color_module.htm This will simplify your wardrobe and you will feel better in
what you wear.
5 Core Colors
Once get your colors done you will know what colors to wear. All you need is five
core colors-colors that look fantastic on you. Mine are mahogany, green, purple,
camel and peach. If you get mainly clothes in your core colors than things will
go together.
Clothes Shopping
Shop just 2-4 times a year for clothes to save buying those impulse clothes you
never wear. Also check the label so you are not buying dry-clean only and difficult
to clean clothes.
Closet
As
you look through your closet, if you find colors that aren't "your colors" you
don't need to get rid of them. Just don't have them right next to your face. Maybe
put a scarf in your color around your neck, or a jacket in your color.
A Standard Wardrobe Plan
