I hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas season.
THEME OF THE YEAR
For the past few years I have taken a little day retreat while
the kids and husband are out, to dream and plan the year. During
this session I discover what I want my theme of the year to be.
Every year brings different topics to light. One year my theme
was Health and I had a 52-week plan to get healthy, losing 15
pounds in the process. Another year I focused on Organization
and revamped my house. Other year’s are virtues like Grace, Creativity
and Joy and most of my plans throughout the year flowed through
that year’s trait. During the year I track how I am doing in my
theme. I read books on the theme and research. I plan ways to
take action on my theme. This year my theme of the year is self-care.
What is yours?
Take Action:
Take time this weekend to discover what you want this year to
be about.
- What is frustrating you?
- What do you long for?
- What character trait do you want to improve?
- When you are quiet, what word keeps popping into your mind?
My theme of the year is __________________________________________________________
This year I have just started
a Life Makeover Group. We will be going through the weekly lessons
in Cheryl Richardson’s book Life Makeovers. We begin Jan. 6th.
